I cannot stop my shower head from leaking in my 2010 172 when both my cold and hot water handles are turned completely off. I have removed the handles on both the cold and hot water from the faucet, removed the screw caps that retain the stud into the faucet, removed the rubber washers and springs that are inside the faucet in the water outlet holes. Went to Lowes tonight and got a complete repair system for the faucet, one repair kit for cold and one for hot. I am going to put all of this back together tomorrow with my new parts, turn my pump on and see if this will stop my shower head from leaking. For the head to leak, it HAS to be getting water past the sealing washers in the faucet when the hot and cold water are turned off. If this does not work, I guess my next step is to replace the entire faucet that is mounted onto the shower wall. In order to remove the faucet, I assume I have to access the back of the wall that the faucet is on. How do I access the back of the faucet in order to remove it from the wall. Do I have to remove the refrigerator in order to do this, and, if so, how do I remove the refrigerator. If any of my fellow podders out there have had to remove their faucet, I surely would appreciate your input and advice.
Thank you
