I'd still try the closest local trailer dealer, the one that I used in Kansas City had seals and parts for a all axle types. San Antonio is large enough to more than likely have one dealer with several shops around town, that's were I would check first. In Kansas City it is Croft Trailer Supply with 5 locations around town.    Goose

I'm sure I could find them somewhere in the city, but I kinda like the idea of the correct part showing up in my mailbox. Big smile

Turns out you can get the right part at a good price delivered to your door by Lippert parts direct.

I ordered extras and some other spare parts so all things considered, it's a wash because shipping was the same after I added to the order.

Are your seals leaking or are you doing seal replacement as preventitive maintenance?

Gearing up for the first service. I'm planning to document this in detail and share it here with pics, references, tool and part sources.

I did mine a few years ago, got my parts from etrailer.  Was a messy job but one I'm glad to have tucked under my belt now and know how to do and service them.  The videos on etrailer are spot on for the process and what to do if you need any pointers Podster.

OK, thanks Travis. I'm taking the procedure straight out of the Lippert Master Towable Manual and condensing it for reference here. Maybe something we can include in the POD Instruction Manual, but I'll leave that up to Doug. We'll see how it looks when finished. I'll be pulling the POD out of storage 1 March to do the service...more later.

Yup thats the procedures that the etrailer videos follow.

Good luck with it, it's really not hard at all, more messy than anything, I tried to video tape it the year I did it and after the first few minutes I saw I could no longer touch my camera.  LOL

I'm all for it, start your own thread and then I'll link to it.
