Welcome.  The best source of info is to look in your owner's manual, which will list a range of towing weights based on options on your truck (4 wheel drive vs. 2 wheel drive, for example).  You can look up a general number on the internet, if necessary.

Hello All,
 
I am a newbie on this site and wil be getting a hitch on my truck soon and then be looking for a camper. I like the rpod and will be reading this forum until I get one. I have one question though...excactly how much will my truck tow? I have a ford f150, v6, getting a 6000 lbs hitch. any help will be greatly appreciate it. Looking forward to the chats...
