Our power finally came back on tonight, 55 hours total.  The pics coming in from NY and NJ are insane.

Ray, with the leave parts stuck all over the pod, you can change the name to "CamoPod"

The size of the thing is just over the top!  The cold front that we have here in northern Florida is being caused by Sandy!  She is forcing cold air from western Canada down here.  Below normal temps and windy.  Not bad though.  I am not about to complain.  I'm happy to see eveyone on here seems to be okay!

We did OK at my location in Southern-NJ.  Only about 3-4 inches of rain and top winds of 68-MPH.  Had some tree limbs come down and the power wire detached from the house, due to the wind, but we never lost power.  We did get the Jayco home prior to the storm and it and the R-POD did well in the backyard.  They both look like someone splattered them with pieces of leaves.

Glad all is safe, Podders are a resilient group of well informed strong and prepared people, its all the camping lists we all have made over the years and then started trimming down we dont need, this, and this and pretty soon , you have a mean and lean list, it kinda boils down to survival of the fittest, God bless all. stay safe.

We are getting wind, but not a drop of rain.  An amazing storm that can be on the east coast and in Wisconsin at the same time.  We are fine here in Wisconsin, but I worry about those in the East.

Made it through the storm with only one branch coming down. Lost power for 20 hours but all is on now. Hope everyone is safe out there!

Looks like most people to the west & south of the eye got off pretty easy, compared to some of the damage farther north.  While we lost power fairly early that has been the only major issue for us.  I do see one tree that snapped fairly far from our house but it isn't something I need to worry about right now.  Hope everyone else is ok.

I was just watching the storm updates on CNN. I hope everyone in the path is okay. We are going to get some rain here in New Brunswick Canada but most of the storm is going inland. I have family in Ontario so I hope they come through this okay. The last time a hurricane hit Ontario was Hazel in 1954.

Latest update puts the eye almost right over us probably around 6 am tomorrow, and now it will still be at hurricane strength even that far inland.  We will be sleeping downstairs tonight since our house is surrounded by trees.  Our power went out early this time - around 11:30 am - so I've had our alternative power cranked up since then.
