But I need to give a shout out to Amazon Customer Service. (We pay for the "Amazon Prime" service.)
We have purchased many, many items from Amazon over the years, including a bunch of stuff for our R-Pod-
Class III Receiver
Load Distributing Hitch
Holding Tank Discharge Hose and Support
Battery Cut-off Device
Camp Site Folding Table
Water Pressure Regulator
and probably a few more that don't come immediately to mind. No problems, until we ordered a new Old Town Canoe. It arrived with hidden damage, a stove in bow and scraped hull graphics to be specific. A "no questions asked" replacement canoe was shipped within a day! The only troublesome thing was how to ship the damaged hull back. Amazon provided a return authorization shipping label, but I had no idea who to call to pick it up in our little out-of-the-way island town.
I finally scrolled through the Amazon site until I stumbled on the "Contact Us" button. I selected the "Call Me Now" option, and the phone rang immediately! A very helpful young lady assured me that she would take care of everything. Within 20 minutes I received calls from the shipper that was delivering the new canoe with assurance that the same truck and driver would be taking the damaged hull back to Amazon.
