The chilly temps come and go. The front moves through, it warms up, then the next front....
Repeat until Spring.

That does seem cool for FL, but the whole East Coast has been below normal the last few days.

Wow, I didn't realize that the temperatures would be that chilly in November on Florida.

It's now Monday, Nov. 26, and after work this evening we'll be headed out to the barn to hitch up and bring the 'Pod into town. We'll plug into the house and get the fridge cooling down, load up the clothes and groceries, and be ready to hit the road about 9:45 in the morning. That should put us in Flagler Beach just about 1:00 pm check-in time. This morning it was 46 deg. on the Gulf coast. It's usually about 10 deg. cooler inland, and I don't know what effect being on the Atlantic coast has. Usually a little bit warmer by the water. No problems expected. We will be snug in the 'Pod when we want, and out in some chilly but beautiful weather most of the time.

We are also headed to Florida after Thanksgiving. We are staying at Fort Wilderness in Disney for three days then heading to St. Augustine for 2 days.

When we were in New England we took up downhill skiing just to save our sanity. It's amazing the difference in your outlook when you start hoping for the weather that used to make you the most miserable!
The 'apres ski' is also a good time to cultivate your drinking hobby....

If you get into premium bourbons.. it's as expensive as vintage campers and boats.. but tastes better.
(having a snit of Eagle Rare 17 right now..)

Let me know how that works out for you. I do need a hobby for the non-camping season...

I have never been into winter sports. Winter would go faster if I took up ice fishing, or snowmobiling, or drinking or something.
