We've only been out once in our 'pod so far, but there is not wardrobe, etc of any kind in the 182G. We put clothes in baskets under the bed/dinette for the first trip but knew we had to do something else.
So I came up with adding a drawer under the lower bunk. Now that its done, its probably impractically large since its tough to reach the back, but I think it will be great. We're headed out for 5 days on Thursday and we'll see how it handles the family.
I used heavy duty 28" drawer slides and 3/4" sanded plywood throughout for durability and in case one of my kids decides they want to stand in the drawer one day. I wanted push to open drawer slides, because I didn't want any hardware to show (plus, I think the slideout would run into it) but I didn't want to shell out the money for the expensive drawer slides. So I ended up cutting in a finger pull at the end that you'll see in the last pic. I also put a Southco drawer latch in the back to keep it in place.
I also had to relocate the outlet that was located where the drawer now lives. There was enough room under the bathroom door to house the box.
Here are some process pics (let me know if anyone is interested in the sketchup model)
