Started the day this morning at a brisk 39 degrees. The color changes are starting to speed up a bit.

Had our first fire last night, with overnight temps this weekend in the 40's. I miss summer already.

Dang! Must be nice to have weather cool enough for a fire. Right now (~11:00 am), it's 81 here .. and we're grateful for the cooler weather (compared to what we've been having)! Fireplace weather is still a couple of months off. The good news: We still have a lot of good camping weather left.

You folks shouldn't wish for something you really don't want. As they say, "a day without Florida heat and humidity is.............Wonderful".

Same humidity we get in the mid-Atlantic, and I would still prefer a nice summer scorcher vs. a mid-winter cold snap.

Our mid-winter cold snap is usually a week to ten days at 0-minus 5 at noon and 30 below at night

You have a big camper now to visit Florida or Texas for a month or two and enjoy 80 or 90 degree weather.
