Congrats, this is impressive stuff. I've seen lots of exterior RV mods over the years and few of them pass muster, yours is the rare exception.

That said, as you are just up the road from me, know that you welcome to stop by anytime to mod my 178.

Also, how about some details and pictures of your tow dolly. I have a tight parking spot in my back yard and could really use one of those.

I look at your extensive mods & say to myself "Wow. This guy has too much spare time." On top of that, it amazes me the vision that you have towards mods. And the workmanship appears outstanding. I would really like to see it up close & personal, because it just amazes me.

Bred, I started out with a dolly from princess auto, they have them on sale every once in a while for 300 or 400$, it may do the job for you. My driveway is to steep, the way the dolly is built it didn't do the job for me so I rebuild it.

If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Something to consider: scrap the little battery and add a spring coil cord temporarily attached to the top of the jack, the plugged into the Bargeman for power.  One less battery to maintain for something rarely used.

Doug, I took care of that with a plug under the cap. I will use the plug when the little battery gives out.

I have not been out camping yet, gardening and work don't mix with RVing, however spring up here was about 3 weeks late. I did go out with the trailer to weigh it (about 45 km) without the AC and with the nosejob it seems to me that the pod tows a lot easier.
If you want something done right, do it yourself.

 Thank you marwayne that seemed to be my feeling with the V nose of the Vibe with yours it could be having the AC removed or it could be your nose job. I'm thinking it's probably both, more so the nose job. I was curious if your changes would make a difference. I guess time will tell for both of us as we do more traveling with our campers. With the Vibe it seems to tow more inline with our TV even with cross winds and large trucks passing by us.   David

With the ease the trailer towed I hope to squeeze at least another 2 miles out of a gallon.
