Sounds like a very all encompassing trip. Many years ago I was stationed at NAS Millington, outside of Memphis, which was a Naval Air station training base. Being a young man and wanting to impress the ladies, I took the bus into Memphis on Saturdays and pampered myself by going to the Peabody Hotel and having a haircut, manicure and shoe shine, downstairs at the barber shop. Never forgot the ducks swimming in the hotel lobby pool. They have a schedule where they swim for so many hours and then leave the lobby pool, head to the elevator where they are transported to their quarters on the roof and then another group come down and continue to swim. Delightful!! I believe the Peabody was built early in the 1900's for the cotton brokers coming to town. Very high end hotel. Hope it still maintains its reputation. Haven't thought about the Peabody in many many years. Enjoy. Safe Travels.

That's a great lineup, you'll get a lot of time to explore things better than we will on our trip. We'll be a few days behind you in GA (going to Atlanta then Tybee Island), then just miss you in New Orleans (10th - 13th). Looks like we may overlap at the Crater of Diamonds, we'll be there 20th-21st.
