I do love a good bakery. Fortunately, there aren't any around us.

Winterized the POD on Monday and will de-winterize it again on Friday. Hopefully, for the last time this year.

We had a good trip to Florida. Crooked river state park (GA) was beautiful but the no-see-ums were terrible. Spent most of the time in the pod. If we went out we had to wear long pants, long sleeved shirts, hats, gloves and face protection(it was 80+ degrees out).

We stayed at our first commercial campground in Daytona. Luckily we only needed 30 amps so we got 'stuck' way in a back corner by ourselves. The rest of the campground was packed so tight I was surprised that some of RVs could extend their slideouts. The bathrooms were disgusting so I had to learn to shower in the pod. The oxygenics shower head is great, by the way. When we were leaving we found that the only dump station was about 2 feet from another RVs front door. YUCK.

Our final night was at the KOA south of Savannah. It was very nice, clean and expensive. $43 a night. Wish we could have spent a few days there but had to get home. An added inducement was a Scottish pub/restaurant just down the road. Ok food and over 100 single malts. Broke the bank that night.

I would have hated to be the RV in front of the dump station!

Yup, that definitely would have stunk up the weekend.

We had our first trip of the year, and our first trip ever, since getting our pod in December. We drove from Tacoma, WA to just north of Port Townsend and stayed at Fort Worden State Park. They have nice campgrounds both near the beach and also a wooded area. We had great weather (mostly sunny and about 55 degrees). It is a wonderful, historic park, located on the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula with lots of areas to hike and great things to see. If you travel to Washington State, check it out.

Well every thing was ready for a Two nighter, Pod ready, fridge on. all we had to do was load clothes and food, then BLAM 2 low pressure areas sweep the Ohio valley area, rain, maybe hail storms tonight, tomorrow, but of course weather clears and is going to be beautiful just in time to go back to work. Spring Weather is a fickle B###H. First trip out cancelled.
