I now have an issue with the heat not working. I tried to fire it up and it wouldn't light off, no stove either, both worked well on Sunday and the tanks are full.

Are you not on an electric site? 30 amps will support two electric heaters, plus another one on the 20 amp outlet at the power pole. Might be barely enough in a pup at 10 F

We are thinking some kind of soup for the put luck on Saturday Night Dinner. My wife over ruled the idea of homemade Ice Cream for desert. Not quite sure why.........

hi all. we've still got a site reserved but we're watching the weather closely to see the amount and timing of the snow fall. we may not be able to make the full weekend due to not being comfortable trailering in that kind of weather. we're still hoping it may bypass us or not be as bad as predicted but regardless we will make an effort to come up on saturday even if we don't end up bringing the r-pod.

I believe I'm making something with chicken and stuffing in the slow cooker - throw it in, go hit the furnace and wineries, come back to the pods and it will be ready. Ice cream sounds great!
I'm keeping an eye on the snow situation too, but so far I'm still planning on making an attempt Friday afternoon. I may track down the phone number of either the campground or the furnace's visitor center to find out what the local conditions are before I leave.
