Calendar Event: Fridge Circuit Posted: 28 Oct 2016 at 9:28pm |
Yes, If I trip the GFCI button on the outlet next to the fridge All outlets lose 110v power but NOT the fridge, If I turn off the circuit breaker all plugs and fridge go off. Now I have to check where the fridge plugs in and see if it should be GFIC.

Just to be clear - if you trip the GFCI and leave the fridge in AC mode overnight, it stays cold?
That would be unusual, since the fridge's AC outlet is exposed to the outside elements, which is why it is supposed to be run through the GFCI.

Wow! very bad idea to have the fridge on a GFCI protected circuit. If it were my pod, I'd either parallel off of circuit nbr 3 for the fridge or install piggy back breakers on nbr 3 or, space permitting a separate breaker for the fridge. Don't understand FR reasoning here, it seems a no-brainer

The only thing that shuts off when i turn off the #3 breaker is the power to the Television outlet

| That looks good. You would not want the fridge to go off
if an appliance tripped the GFCI. However, what does the GP -3 breaker
control?

Does your fridge have its own breaker?

The fridge brains are 12v.. it won't work on 120v if it's on the GFCI circuit and that is tripped. It will still work in 12v and gas mode just fine.
