Wink  Been busy and have not had much time to get on our site.

Okay, here is my question for you elec tecs.

We were just out on CG electric and the GFI popped. The refridge lost power.

Is that the way it should be wired? Seems like it should be on its own breaker.

I've not looked at the cb panel but are there any open spaces?

Thanks.

For some unknown reason some Pods are wired that way. Seems like a dumb way to do things, but maybe it's faster/easier/cheaper for the factory. Other Pods are wired correctly with a separate fridge breaker (Let no two Pods be built the same). If you can you should rewire it.

At least we don't have no TPO roof.... yet. LOL

But yes, some, in fact IME, most pods are wired this way.

The fridge on our 2016 179 is on its own circuit and the GFCI has no effect on it.  Same is true for the microwave and the AC.  GFCI only protects the plug circuit

That's the way it should be! Looks like I gotta put on my electricians hat.

We are the same as sailor.  Our 2011  177 fridge has its own circuit as well.

On my 180 the fridge is on the same circuit as the GFCI plug, but if i trip the test button on the GFCI the fridge still works. So it's either pigtailed to the hot side or they ran a separate wire.

The fridge brains are 12v.. it won't work on 120v if it's on the GFCI circuit and that is tripped. It will still work in 12v and gas mode just fine.

Does your fridge have its own breaker?

The  main 110v panel  looks like this,

#6 on the 110v side is  marked as GFCI / Refer.

The power runs from the main panel over, (under), to a GFCI elec plug next to the refer,( in the 180) When the breaker is turned off the refer won't run on 110v.

When i just push the button on the GFCI plug next to the refer all elec plugs in or on the unit go off, As they should,  but the refer still works on 110v meaning they either ran to the refer first or pigtailed the refer line to the hot side of the GFCI .

That looks good. You would not want the fridge to go off if an appliance tripped the GFCI. However, what does the GP -3 breaker control?

The only thing that shuts off when i turn off the #3 breaker is the power to the Television outlet

Wow!  very bad idea to have the fridge on a GFCI protected circuit.  If it were my pod, I'd either parallel off of circuit nbr 3 for the fridge or install piggy back breakers on nbr 3 or, space permitting a separate breaker for the fridge.  Don't understand FR reasoning here, it seems a no-brainer

Just to be clear - if you trip the GFCI and leave the fridge in AC mode overnight, it stays cold?

That would be unusual, since the fridge's AC outlet is exposed to the outside elements, which is why it is supposed to be run through the GFCI.

Yes,
If I trip the GFCI button on the outlet next to the fridge All outlets lose 110v power but NOT the fridge, If I turn off the circuit breaker all plugs and fridge go off. Now I have to check where the fridge plugs in and see if it should be GFIC.
