I have an E2 and had similar problems due to improper installation by the dealer. It sounds like the L-brackets were installed too far back from the ball, and maybe loose to boot. During a tight turn the outside spring bar can slip partially out of the L-bracket retainer. When the TV returns to normal the spring bar will jam in the L-bracket and bend it.

H ello everyone! Looking forward to learning oodles from everyone's trailer wisdom. We just brought home our first trailer ever, a new 2016 183G! Super excited to have this new escape pod. We're using a 2014 FJ Cruiser to pull it and so far, so good, except that we found our anti-sway bar was warped from the drive home. Yeah. Other than that, we've already gotten hard at work in loading up essentials (kitchen stuffs, cleaning stuffs, coffee...) and can't wait to take her out for her maiden voyage, as well as to christen our best-traveling pup officially as a Pod Dog.
As I said, we're new to the towing and trailer world, so any shared wisdom is greatly appreciated.
