I had a much faster recovery time when I was 25. Wish I had that back. Oh well, cheers!

I disagree. We use both electric and LP almost always while in camp. The water heats up so quickly and stays plentiful. We only turn the LP off at the switch at night because it fires under our heads and the noise bothers me - otherwise it would always be on while in camp.

Thanks Charlie that makes sense. So there is no reason to have both the electrical and the LP on at the same time. It's one or the other. |

The red light is ONLY associated with the LP mode. It lights when the switch is on, the thermostat is calling for heat, and the burner is not lit. The light will go out when the burner ignites. The 120V system is completely independent and has NO visual indicator.

Yes. I'm talking about the inside panel and the red water heater switch. I was wondering if the red switch lights up when switched on. Thanks. |

When running the water on electricity is the water heater switch light supposed to come on? When I turn on the water heater switch on the panel while I have the electrical heat switched on outside, the water heater switch does not light up.

No idea on why a re-purge would be necessary. I'd see how it goes for a while before getting a dealer involved.
