Glad you got it worked out.

I got it straightened out. I made it to our RV shop just before they closed and got an dropped shank. I had to drill another 3/4" hole so my head would put the top of the ball at roughly the same height as the Pod's receiver. Once I got it set up the back of the trailer was sitting lower than the front so I had to lower the hitch head one hole anyway, so I wasted time drilling that hole. Oh well, at least I got it setup and just need to torque everything down.

My FJ is lifted about 2.5" and with the head on the lowest hole the top of my ball is 21 3/8"-21.5" off the ground. When the pod is level the top of the ball receptacle is about 18 3/8" off the ground. Would a 4" drop hitch shank be all I need?

I might see if Equalizer might accept the original hitch shank that is sent with the kit since I didn't even use it. Maybe give me some money back? I doubt it but it might be worth a shot.
