There should be a drain cock on or near the bottom of the fresh water tank. Just open it and get out of the way. If you're really ambitious you can also open the hot and cold low point drains and open the hot and cold water faucets inside the camper. This will drain all the pipes and also the 6 gallons stored in the water heater. Not really necessary if you're not ready for freezing WX yet. Your black tank should have a black tank flush connection to clean the black tank. Emptying the FW into the toilet will work, but it requires the pump to run and takes a long time.

Agreed on the water heater, I don't usually drain it either. Also if you are draining your freshwater tank at the drain cock on dirt. Put a board, stabilizer pad, flat rock or some thing under the drain cock. The water pressure/volume can really drill a hole in some soils.

Yes, that is true for many models and years. My reply was specifically for those models with 2 different dump outlets like yours (although it also applies to models with the tanks together, you just don't need to move the hose around).

Most campsites you will be ok with the cord that comes with the pod, but this is one area you don't want to skimp because the day will come when you wish you had that 30 amp RV extension cord. This is especially true for provincial campgrounds in Canada according to many members here. |
That's what I'm trying to describe: the grey is NOT near the Black tank in the 2015 models

I am with Doug. we keep our line hitched to the grey tank unless we are ready to dump. We di get rid of the hose that came with the pound and got one longer just to make things easier.
