Has anyone figured out how to pull the a/c (Dometic) filters out without tearing them to pieces?  I bought a new set but the old ones are near impossible to remove.  One of them has been repaired with duct tape once already.  Thanks.

I had a hard time pulling mine out, too.  They should pull straight out towards the front of the pod.

I have never had any issues removing them, one side is a little harder to get back in than the other. It did take a few minutes to remember that they only go in one way, the lip that you pull with your fingers goes down and I have found that by keeping the filters level with the ceiling, holding them to the outside edge of the slot as you put them back in they slide in easier. I would think that there maybe something in the way if the screen is being torn.   Goose

We finally tackled the a/c filters again today, and won!  We unscrewed the light fixture which is just in front of the a/c and it then gave us more wriggle room to pull out the filters.  One was broken and the other was full of dust.  A quick clean-up and replacement, and we're cool again.   We'll have to remove the light fixture every time we clean the filters.  Thanks for the replies.
