Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!
I could read instructions until I'm blue in the face & still be confused. I do much better with visuals. The video is great!

shell, see the link in my signature. Once on that page you'll see the link to the winterization instructions.

Winterizing has been covered pretty thoroughly..
But.. 1) yes. Under the bed, street side. 2) no. but you will use 6 gallons less anti freeze if you do. 3) remove the anode. 4) there is no low point drain for any individual area, there are TWO low point drains, located together, one for the hot water lines, one for the cold lines. At the top of the main page for this section, you will find a stickied thread of users/owners manual/notes.. one of them is "winterizing" OH, and , Welcome to the forum! ![]() |

Hi All!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our 2013 RPod 177 our first season. We have learned A LOT that the generic manual does not tell you. I also have found a lot of answers on this forum! Now it is time for winterizing, and we have begun to do so, but I have more questions that I have not found the answer to yet. Wondering if anyone can help? 1.) Does my RPod have a bypass on water heater? Where do I access it? 2.) Do I need to bypass it for winterizing with RV antifreeze? 3.) If I just blow compressed air through lines and antifreeze the traps, how do I get all the water out of the hot water heater? 4.) Is there a low point drain for the wet bath? I ask because there is one under the kitchen sink. Thank you! Michelle |
