We completed our first outing in our new 2024 RPOD 190C. We went north to the cooler temps of Prescott National Forest and stayed at Lynx Lake Campground.
Great site with good views, clean bathrooms and Potable water. The water level in the lake was low due to a repair at the Dam, but fish were still biting. The first trip went well, with only the hot water heater not working correctly, which it is still under warranty so that should be fixed next week. I thought the Rpod towed great. Looking forward to our next trip in Oak Creek Canyon.

Great to hear! Let us know what the issue was with the hot water heater. Did it function on either propane or 120 or not at all?

Are you using a weight distribution hitch? Just curious. Nothing to do with the hot water heater.

It would ignite and run on propane, but after about 3 minutes it would shut off, water never heated up.

Yes, I use a blue ox track pro. I did get it adjusted after the first row, the dealership that installed it did the adjustment for free. We now have it dialed in.

We just completed a 1,500 mile hike each way from Maryland to Oklahoma and back. Early October drove northern route up through West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri. South route in November via Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia. Going through the mountains on the north route is scenic, green, but steeper grade due to the mountains. Towing with a 15 yo V-6, I babied it on the ascents, of course moving over to the truck lane up the mountains. On the southern route, it was more comfortable slow grade (not as steep as the north route). Despite the 75 mph speed limit, i stayed below 65 mph. The truck would go faster, I've read so much about tires exploding I just tried to stay out of everyone's way. I have 2 yo Goodyear Endurance tires. Previous owner of my RPOD blew the fender half off (steel fender) with an exploding tire.
