If the dead-bolt had not been locked, I'd say the chances are pretty good. The dealer told me not to lock the dead-bolt when we dropped our R-Pod off for service. Apparently, the dead-bolt is the one that is the secure lock. The regular door latch is more universal so the dealer can get in and work on it without the owner having to leave keys. You could possibly verify by having your neighbor try his key your door lock. Also, see if he will let you check the number on the key against the number on yours.

A friend parked their Rpod on the street next to our house while their street was being paved. They left the porch light on and it was melting the plastic cover, my key unlocked the door and I turned it off.wonder what the odds are on that?

Thanks JandL! I just checked out that site. My 2016 actually has one of the door locks that they sell, I just need to order the cam locks that are keyed the same.

I purchased from “Rvlocksandmore.com”   The 900 Secure Series door lock and 2 Cam locks for my cargo doors, they are all keyed the same. That way I only have to carry one key to open everything. In my opinion you cannot secure the trailer door with the same security you have at home. I can pry open the Pod door just as quickly as I can open it with a key. The door is a 1/32” skin of fiberglass and 1.5” of foam and then another 1/32” layer of plastic. I just wanted to make it somewhat inconvenient to get in by changing out the locks to a key that not too many people have.

And there are only about 50 combinations for the door key (and you can buy all of them fairly cheap).

Combination locks are available, easy to install, and inexpensive.

Yeah.. Even back in 2013 I was told by my friend who has an RV dealership here in CT that they are all keyed the same. My 2013 Starcraft 17RD was also CH751.

My dealer told me that all the compartment keys on all the RV's are keyed the same. It is not much security. In addition to the compartment, the same key is on the outside shower. I have not changed mine out yet. I've thought of it though.

A friend pointed out to me that the keys that fit his storage compartments were the same as all the other RVs at the dealership and he checked mine and mine was the same as his which is three years older so a person might want to re-key their storage compartment  you can buy locks at Home Depot for about five dollars apiece

Ch751  was my old key number if you want to check yours to see how common it is
