Maybe I was not clear enough yesterday. The wires I intend to reconnect are the same ones I removed before winter. Dual cables, taped together from from the r-pod, two reds, one black & white cable also from the r-pod. Plus, separate red and black cables to connect the opposite battery. I have a photo, but not sure how to insert it in this post, sorry. Here is what I have: Two 12v Batteries, 1' Dual Red wires from the RV 2. White+black together, from the RV 3. One red to connect the two batteries 4. One black to connect the two batt's. Assuming I read correctly, I connect in this fashion:

It sounds like your suggested method of re-connection is correct. Two 12V batteries should be connected in parallel. The only confusing thing about your post is the two red wires taped together and the black and white combo. Most PODs have only a single red and single white, but if they are tape together it sounds like the previous owner or the factory intended them to be connected together. The connection of reds to one battery and black+white to the other battery as you describe is the preferred way.

If there are wires taped together, it might be the Zamp power wires. I have four wires on my 'Pod. Two are heavier, and are for the general R-Pod connections. Two do not have terminals and were not connected. This second pair connect to the Zamp power connector.
