I was using the sewer tank flusher last time we were out and forgot (dumb!!:)) to leave the valve open on the tank. When we got home I noticed a little bit of water on the floor...put two and two together and figured there must be a relief valve on the line. I called our dealer and the mechanic said that there was a pop valve and we would have gotten a little water on the floor, but what he couldn't tell me was if the pop valve would re-seat itself?? I'm assuming it would; hooked it up again, opened things up and seems fine. Anyone else know for sure if the pressure valve re-seats itself? If not I'll have to call RPod direct and ask them.  ------------- Dean and Naomi '12 173T |

Hopefully someone can help, my pod didn't come with one of these systems. We used our builtin flusher recently and I dutifully read the label on the outside of the trailer that said to make sure the valves were open before "flushing." I do believe that someone had posted that they had not opened the gate valves prior to flushing and had a geyser in the bath. Hope that helps. The head is the only opening to the tank in the bathroom, and in mine it closes quite completely unless flushing. Your correct. Just mentioning what the sticker on the side of my trailer warns against. It did not say anything about "Old Faithful" in the head, but I believe that is what someone posted recently.
