I have been trying to sign on to r.pod nation for the past hour. It should not be this difficult. I just wanted to read and see some of the mods and post some pictures of some mods we did to our new 179.
How do I do that?

Rpod Nation? You sign in the same as here, if you have an account. I have never had an issue there, or here.

Did you make an account? Has it been approved? What error are you getting?

Assuming you used the same forum name there.. you do not show up as a member.

Yup, two different forums.  The other forum gets little activity (and at times a lot of spam) so just stay here.  Clap

Agree, this is where the action is, and the facebook side gets a lot of activity also.

On some weekend mornings, I cannot get the forum to open, even if other sites do open.  If I come back later it works.  I use a little Verizon box so that system may get overloaded. Mostly just an irritation.

Occasionally there are issues connecting due to the hosting.  I've never noticed a pattern, usually it is due to a storm.

Late last week, there was a denial of service attack on one of the main DNS providers. It impacted a lot of websites. Maybe it impacted getting to the forum in your part of the country.

OK I finally got on. So now I am wondering how to post pictures? I have tried and it just doesn't work.
My pictures are supposedly too large. How can that be? They are just pics from my iPhone.

That's one of the downsides to having a high megapixel camera: the file sizes, even for JPEGs, still tend to be somewhat large. The limit for uploads to the site is 1 MB.

That's why you'll see a lot of people post photos to photo sharing sites and then just link to them in forum posts. Since the photo is downloaded straight from the sharing site to your computer, the forum server doesn't care how big it is.
