OK, so this is a total experiment on several levels. Using the new iOS 10 Photos App on my iPhone 6, I kludged together some images from our Acadia trip. It's a bit clumsy but the end result isn't awful.

There are many images which really do require further explanation. Know, however, we had a great time. We will return...but will camp in the brand new Schoodic Woods Campground. We found, even after Labor Day, that Desert Island was just a bit too crowded for our taste.

Enjoy!

Edited for info: If you do use YouTube to publish your slide show - don't let YouTube do their "image stabilization". Just realized what it did to transitions. Now fixed.

Fred,

That was quite a show. I did it justice and watched while eating popcorn  and sipping on a silver bullet!!

Wow lots of memories watching that.  I remember the water temp on the "the beach" was around 50 F yet there were women in bikinis splashing around like it was 90.  Brrrrrrr.  We came within 10 minutes of sunset on the top of Cadillac but everyone else was so tired from being out all day we went back to camp (10 minutes!).

So what is the story on the car in the ditch? Avoiding wildlife?

The car thing was one of those slow motion moments...

"Don't do it buddy. Don't do it! There he goes. He did it."

He was in front of us on Park Loop Road. It's a slow, mostly one way, road throughout the park with lot's of pull offs. He didn't see the deep ditch on the edge of the road. Not sure how, since I saw it from behind him. He decide to pull off the road.

Like I said, in slow motion the front went in the ditch and the back went in the air. Front wheel drive. He had cell reception to call someone to yank him out.

Sand Beach on a cold and foggy day...Yes! There were a few folks in the water!
