My friends travel trailer has a inlet where he can hook up a hose to flush out the black water. Does anyone know of a after market connection that will do the same thing.

Our 2011 177 came from FR with that.

The black tank flush is standard on the newer pods, not sure what year they started including them.

My 2010 doesn't have the built-in flush system, so I use a toilet stick with a hose at the dump station.

We have one on our 179. When I tried to use it water comes out of the bottom of the trailer the dealer told us it was a bad J valve and replaced but it still does the same thing so we clean out the system with a hose in the toilet.

If yours is under warranty I would take it back again.  No reason to leave it like that.

Mine has been worked on before and still leaks like that also.  I've learned to not use it, never wanted to take the extra time at the dump station anyways.

Couple things it could be, the valve there does have to be positioned so that it remains vertical.

My issue this time is a the hose has a pretty good bend in it that I think has popped the clamp off the valve.

Probably not something I'll ever bother fixing.
