So I'm out here under the rdome awning and notice water dripping down the right rear corner; onto the stabilizing jack.
Well since the ac is running I'm thinking no big deal right? But since I found a good real leaker in the emergency escape window the other week, I'm thinking l had better check it out to be on the safe side.
Well I follow the water...yep its coming from the ac allright as suspected but noticed its coming from inside the corner seal at the bottom... So somehow its going from outside the ac unit and disappearing to inside the trailer and running down the inside seam and dumping water to the outside...oh crap red alert again!!!
So I follow the waters path on the outside and sure enough I find two corners had opened up about two inches wide and about a foot apart and water was once again entering the trailer!!!
Why doesn't forest river just give the owners a case of caulk and a caulking gun as a token of their appreciation???
This trailer is a 2016 176t!!!
Forest river! How about you folks come and fix this lemon pod!!! serial number: 4x4trpt1xglo12868

2016 should still be on warranty. Have you spoken to your dealership about warranty coverage/repair?

Thanks I will after this trip... But the rub is that I bought this out of Iowa and I'm in south Carolina... The nearest dealer is about 30 miles away and everyone has heard about the reluctantly of a different dealership not wanting to do warranty work...but I will see how it goes.
The only reason I didn't shop local is because they could not get the 176t anytime soon...when I spoke to them on the phone the local dealership said they " might have one in six weeks".
Until this stuff is resolved, I wear a caulking gun on my hip like a cowboy with his six-gun.
Glad I brought it with me this time! Its a shame to be paranoid enough that you may leave a caulking gun behind when you go out in the r-pod.
Lol as a matter of fact I never took the caulking gun out of the truck from the last episode....groan

When you mentioned the corner trim I thought it might just be running under the insert trim (the domed plastic stuff that sits on top of the corner trim).  Sorry to hear it is under the entire corner trim piece.
