Two questions.

Has anyone connected the two dumps on a 179? and if so how did you do it?

Second question has any one had a slide toper installed over there slide? We have these over our slides on our 5th wheel and really like the idea.

From my M/H days, my class "C" had two slide outs and both had toppers. I had the dealer install the topper plus 2 30# propane tanks and 2 6 volt batteries prior to pickup. Why FR didn't make them standard is beyond me (except a cost saving on their part)

Try this:

Since we mostly boondock, we use a luggable loo and have never used our black tank (too much trouble and maintenance).

Before pulling out of our campsite, I climb into the bed of our pickup and visually check the top of our slider for debris.

We had the topper installed. Why it's not standard or simply offered as an option is beyond me. Totally worth it. We had crap on top of the fridge once and it's why we asked about it.

An option for getting up there to inspect the roof, I bought a collapsible ladder a few months ago and love it.  This is the exact one I bought, although it was $65 when I bought it.
