I have posted a few times on this forum, but never really created a introductory post. I purchased a (new to me) 2014 178 in March from Blue Dog RV in Kennewick. Drove it home, via an overnight in our friends driveway in Yakima, pulling with my Nissan Xterra. I am glad that I let the dealership talk me in the WDH, which I was going to forgo, but it was the windiest I have ever seen it coming home, and there is no way we would have made it. my only other thought is the Xterra seems to be a bit underpowered to pull the 178 empty. I hit 55 max and couldn't really go any faster. it also knocked my MPG to about 6.
Other than the first night in our friends driveway, we are finally taking her out on our maiden voyage. we have never camped at a campground that has hook ups before so this will be a new experience for us. We are going this weekend to the Deception Pass State Park. I have been there before, but only tent camped with the scouts.
So when I saw an RPOD for the first time looking at local dealerships, I for some reason thought of the Death Star from Star Wars. so I dubbed thee DEATHPOD
