I just got back from a weekend trip and found an issue with my sewer hose. The place we stayed had the sewer dump in the back of the site and my 6' hose would not reach. So off to the local hardware store for a 20' hose to reach both dump outlets on the 178. Getting ready to leave and the sewer hose won't fit in the holder under the propane tank! Took the hose holder off and cut the tube in half, installed a black 4" PVC pipe and measured the length needed and glued in place. I mounted the new improve sewer hose holder on the rail above the gray dump valve and it works great! Sorry I only have an IPone so unable to post a photo

We had the same problem and almost the same solution. That little bitty hose they send is way to small. I wish they had just included one of the rhino's and a better holder. I would have happily paid more.
Then again, I wouldn't have been able to make one of two mods on my pod! Lol |

The 4" PVC pipe fit great inside the sewer hose holder. Lowes sells a 2' length of pipe for $10 and I used black glue. With this setup I'm able to still use the doors on the holder and now the hose is closer to the dump handles.
