I hadn't seen that one before. I'm curious how that system allows any turning motion. It looks like it may have rubber stops on the ends of the chains but I can't see how they would allow several inches of movement.

when hooking up the trailer/WDH , and backing up your truck, can the truck and trailer make a slight angle, or they both has to be precisely one line such that there is no angle between the two ? I'm trying to see if this is not an advantage of Andersen or not. Andersen allow the angle because the triangle that is to be attached to the hitch can freely move left and right. I seriously doubt I have ever been deadnuts same degree accurate with my angle when backing in. In fact I am pretty sure at least once I have been at least 10 degrees out.. I have even been known to kick the pod tongue sideways a few inches if needed to get over the ball.
It's not rocket science.. a million TT owners will hook up and go somewhere this month.. with no issues. |

I can't speak for the Anderson but with my E2 and Dual Cam there is no issue hooking up at an angle.
