just curious.  haven't been in the pod for a while.  went in today and noticed the kitchen sink had leaked/dripped some anti-freeze out.  knobs are off.  we have had some pretty cold temps.  is this just due to expansion due to up and down temps?  hogone

I get that every year in the sink and shower and chalk it up to moving the camper around after winterizing it.  There is some antifreeze in the pipe between the valve and the nozzle.  Expansion makes sense, too.

I get the same thing, I think its barometric pressure change or temp change, sometimes I open and close faucets to equalize pressure and then they drip for a bit.

I don't know about the drips with the faucets closed.  No help there, but I always thought you should leave faucets open to allow for any expansion.  I mean, it shouldn't happen anyway with antifreeze but if there is some water in the pipes and it freezes, an open escape for expansion is less likely to cause damage than a closed valve.

Ditto here.  Same mild winters as Podster.  (Slight OT side note: My father-in-law lived several years just outside Madison, WI and only drained + AF in the traps.  Never a prob.)

Open - I'm a plumber. RV Antifreeze will freeze/slush at around 10 degrees, but it will not expand until -50. I use it in my backflow test gauges during the winter. Open valves allow the system to breath, expand and contract.
