I had a very negative experience from this dealership. It was a hot day and they rushed through the how to walk through. When I got home my first incident was unhooking the trailer(equalizer hitch)on a very slight incline. They never mentioned blocking the tires. I had a jackknifed trailer and trailer toungh on my bumper. I was hit in the leg by one of the sway bars when we finally got it to release. Very dangerous situation for a newby. First time I used the r-pod my microwave came half-way out of the cabinet,my pipes leaked and flooded the storage areas, and the door locks had issues. The hitch was almost impossible to get the sway arms on and the safety break line was too short. I took it back to the Post Falls Blue Dog they fixed all the issues and informed me the hitch was on upside down so there was no height adjustment. A real learning curve. Everything seems to be better now and we are having fun.

Sounds like they didn't do the pre-delivery inspection.  Also note with weight distribution hitches, often you must attach the camper to the ball and then crank the tongue jack back up, lifting the tongue and rear of the tow vehicle.  Then the spring bars will slide right onto the L brackets.

With the hitch adjust bracket on correctly for height adjustment it is now very easy to push the sway bars on and off after raising the hitch.

Just want to be clear here - they are easy to get on after you connect the pod to your TV and then use the tongue jack to lift everything back up, right?

If they "adjusted" things so you are lowering the pod onto the TV and can immediately slide the spring bars on, then the WDH isn't doing anything and needs to be adjusted properly by someone else.

You misunderstand me. We crank the trailer up and back the hitch ball under the trailer to lower and lock it onto the ball. Then we crank the trailer up lifting the car and hitch high enough to slide the receiver arms onto the plate they sit on and place the locking pegs in place. Then lower the trailer back down until the lift bar is up off the ground ..pull out wood block. This is what Blue Dog said to do so we do not need to use the tool to lever the bar onto the plates. Does this make sense?

Sounds like it is correct, great.  Just wanted to be sure they didn't "solve" your problem by making the WDH completely ineffective.
