On my 179 the switch for the outside light is mounted way over by the bathroom door.  This requires entering the camper to turn on/off the light.

So FR-  how about mounting it around the corner where it is easily reached by leaning in?  Plenty of room and still within the electrical compartment with the water gauges/wh switch/wp switch etc.

Likewise-  why would you mount the bathroom light switch on the hinge side of the door?  In fact putting it where the outside light switch is would be a lot better.     Problem with the hinge side is one has to exit the bathroom to turn on the light where simply cracking the door to reach out and turn the light on would be easy.

Good points - and I'll note the 171 has the switches in the "right" places.  Just inside the outside door, and on the latch side of the bathroom door.
