My wife and I are long time RVers.  We love travel, fiyfishing, photography, and Golden Retrievers.  We have always had a long trailer (presently a 34 foot 3 slide) for long term stays at single destinations and small camper for short trips or even long but frequent stopovers.  We have just purchased a 2014 Rpod 177 from Blue Dog RV in Idaho and are expecting to pick it up as soon as the snow quits falling.  This will replace a Jumping Jack Tent trailer which has become a little too much work for this 67 year old retired teacher.  Blue Dog RV was several thousands cheaper than here in Bozeman Montana and they sold it with a fantastic Forever Warranty.  All you have to do is some simple annual maitanance to keep it up and  you can acquire repairs at any qualified RV service and there is no deductible. We love this forum.  The ideas and suggestions from experience Rpoders  has been informative and entertaining.  Depending on the nature our trips we intend to pull our RPod with a 2014 Moab Wrangler Unlimited or a 2012 Tundra.  Our first trip planed for the new RPod is along the Alaska Highway to Fairbanks.   Would like to hear from any of you who have made this trip and from any northwest RPoders.
Podding from Montana and loving it!

Congrats. Read all of the posts on maintenance. Just spoke with a Podder who had a wheel bearing fail. Was quite costly to repair and fortunately all are OK. Lippert recommends replacing the bearing grease every 12K miles. Safe Travels.

My partner is a teacher with about 4 years to go before she retires. We're picking up our 178 in a couple of weeks...snow or no snow and heading west to Vancouver Island for spring break.
we spend our summers just north of you at Koocanusa Lake and hope to make at least one trip this summer through Montana and Idaho.
