   Dane- I think g4 was speaking to my dish washing shelf in the thread earlier, where I put shelf brackets on the street side of the pod on either side of the fender.  I fill the holes I drill with silicone then put the Molly's or other fittings in.
The outer fiberglass shell of the pod is bonded to the layer of expanded styrofoam under it - no room for water to lean in between the layers.  Looking at the shell of the pod there are lots of holes in it - from windows to lights to electrical outlets.  With care, an owner can customize the shell as well. -  Walt
