Am I the only one that has trouble with the gas tank ? I know it has a safety valve that won't allow the gas to come out very fast in case of an accident. If I don't turn my valve on about 4 to 6 hours before we use the pod the stove won't run for more than about 15 seconds, the heater wont get hot etc. Is there a way to adjust the flow rate ? I am about done with the "flame outs" I am going to get another tank or something as this is not do able. The tank is full , it has been checked 3 times, purged, cussed and kicked. I keep the valve off between trips, but I am tired of turning the valve on and 1 hour later you can't use the gas accessories. any idea's ????????????

Are you sure it's the tank itself? take that tank and hook it up to a BBQ grill and see how it acts.. My bet is it's the regulator... Many have needed to replace them either for an issue like this, or pinging...

Make sure you take at least 30 seconds to open the valve so you don't trigger the high-flow safety valve.  If I open mine quickly I can't keep things lit either.

Furpod, you hit the nail on the head. I took the tank off of the Pod and hooked it to my deep frier, it worked great. I took the regulator off and blew through it and it seems ok but I am going to replace it. I think it has been defective from day one as we have had trouble off and on with gas accessories. sometimes stove would work great and then next time flame would go out. the Pod is getting a new propane regulator period.
