Hi all,

We picked up our new TV yesterday and now I need to adjust the hitch ball height on my shank. We went from a Mitsubishi Outlander to an F-150 4x4 so there is quite a difference in height from level ground.  Our parking area has a slight slope in it so I can't really measure the coupler height of the RPOD from level ground.
I was wondering if anyone had this measurement off hand. I have factory installed axle risers and the original TowMax tires on it.

Thanks

You can measure from the frame to the ground at the center of your tires on the trailer and take that measurement up to the hitch. When you are hitched to your F-150 see how much higher you are over what you measured at the tires and the difference is the amount of drop you need. With our Jeep and no risers I have to use a 12 inch drop to have the POD level.   Goose

Mine was 18", too, until I installed my risers yesterday.  With risers, and the original tires, 21.5" should be the new height.

Ah, I do believe that was pre-risers on mine, too.

Thanks Goose, Sleepless and techntrek.

I will put it to 21.5" to get it out of the driveway and on to some level ground and decide if it needs to be adjusted some more.
