My pod is in my barn where I have full hookups.. If I leave it plugged in will the battery overcharge and boil the water out?
On my Motorhome, I had to use a battery minder, 2amp trickle charger as the inverter did not charge the coach batteries, only the house batteries.

No, the pods charger has a built in battery tender.

Nice, thanks. So I don't have to worry about the battery boiling over if I leave it plugged in all the time. |

Leave it plugged in all the time. It will be fine, however you should still check the battery water levels every 30-days or so.

What they said. It has a great 3-stage charger built in so you'll be fine.

If I get one of these simple $3 15 amp RV female to 30 amp male adapters...can I plug in to household AC power and then charge/tend my Rpod 171 battery (using the pod's built-in inverter/converter thing)?

Not with that you can't. You need a 30amp female to 15 amp male adapter http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/30-amp-rv-female-to-15-amp-male-adapter/69604 Then, yes you can. |
