Donna and I only got to do a one nighter last week end, all day Saturday and Saturday night, but she made home made chili and we cooked hot dogs on a big fire saturday night, man that is some good eating , there is something about cool evenings and a nice fire that is soul southing. We set around the fire until about 8;30 pm, it was getting dark and colder, went inside made up the bed and put on Andy Griffith DVD and in about 30 minutes she was out. Man I love the fall weather in southern Indiana, The high saturday was 68, evening temps were 44 degrees, little 1000 watt electric heater ran during the night and it was perfect. I cant wait for the leaves to start changing colors and we can stay longer. cooking on the fire gives simple dishes extra flavor and hiking in the crisp air makes you feel younger, God knows I need a little younger help. Happy Fall Poddin

This is approaching the best time of year for camping for my wife and I.  We're still in the mid-seventies during the day.  Need that temp to drop 10 or 15 more degrees for it to be perfect for us.

I want to go poddin this weekend, but we are going to do our yearly "real vacation" this coming week, flying down to Key West for a Week, I think there is time to squeeze in both, but Donna said, we have to (wait for it) do laundry, mow the lawn, feed the cat, get someone to feed the cat, take out the garbage, wash the car, pay the whatever, fill up the bird feeder, ooohhh I wanna go poddin.
