There could be times on normal power that we could be in the show ring with 1 dog and the others in the cool Pod when power magically disappears. It was mentioned on this forum that a 2KW system will run the A/C but it won't start it due to the surge. It would be worth a test to see if the A/C will stay on even if one of the generators stops. It might, which would give you a little more margin. That's not a replacement for the monitor, but rather a little extra insurance against using it should it work.
