The fridge didn't worry me too much as it would still run off the battery so the food wasn't an issue. But killing my coffee pot didn't make me a happy camper. The suggestion? Put the outside power outlets on a separate GFI circuit. The cost for this fix would be minimal.

A tripped GFCI shouldn't affect the outside light, that runs off of 12 volts. Odd. I agree with your suggestion.

Did you check your fuse box to see if something was tripped there as well? We had an electrical issue on our last trip out last year and found that seemed to be our problem.

If you look, at least in our 177, 2 extra slots in the fuse box...
and yes, the porch light is on the 12v circuit.. and run the fridge on 12v LAST.. it will run a LONG time on gas. The "burner" is no bigger than a pilot light. |

I had the same reaction at first, but then realized since they had hookups it was no different than running it in AC mode. He wasn't really running it off of "battery", but rather from the converter.
With no hookups you are absolutely correct, though. It would kill the battery in just a few hours.

Yeah...had hookups, so I put it in battery mode...since we were on shore power I wasn't worried about battery life. Otherwise it would have been on propane. Yes, had checked the fuses (none were bad), also checked the breakers, none were tripped. Took the outside outlets off latter and checked the back side, they were dry as far as I could tell. I have Eddy back home now and will check on this more latter as he now has a more pressing issue...see my post Gaaaahhh.
