Thinking of doing another trip before spring?  Or something later in the year?

Looks like you all had fun.  What was the name of the winery?

A few of the cabins were being used just outside of our loop, then there were 2 or 3 tenters in our loop and 2 popups.  The popups were doing the same thing we were, they were members of a popup forum and were there for a meetup!  Everyone was far away from us so we virtually had the place to ourselves.

The Park Ranger stopped by the first evening, he saw the 3 Pods and wondered what was up.

Wow.  Tent camping with those temps.  They definately deserve an "atta boy" trophy.  I remember one year, we stayed in our unheated pop-up in 30-degree tempatures.  That was the 1st and last time for that.  I can only imagine what a tent would be like.

T-the winery was called J. Maki. It is a French style vintner, with imported prices. They have a champagne that was given a gold medal some time ago in a French competition.

Historic stove plate returns home to Hopewell Furnace

http://readingeagle.com/article.aspx?id=386014

Not saying our local paper here in Reading is a bit slow BUT This is old news as the stove plate happened to walk into Hopewell Furnace while we were visiting on Jan 14th.  Boy was that a colder day....

Better late then never?  I got some good shots of that stove plate sitting on the front counter.  The way they were talking that day I expected to see it up in the museum by the end of the next week.  That article says it may not be on display until next year, wow.
