SmilePicked up our 2012 RPOD 171 at Pontiac RV, Pontiac, IL on June 1, 2011. Were quite pleased with the service, they took care of everything, even installed a sway bar I had purchased elsewhere for us at no charge and put a wireless brake controller on the POD for no extra charge while completing the wiring. Couldn't be more pleased, very professional.

Glad you're liking your Pod.   Is there any major difference between the 2011 rpods compared to the 2012?  Or do you know?  Just curious.  Happy Podding!

2010 here, too, and we've only had ours 2 years.  Gotta love depreciation...

We were surprised that the dealer said our pre-ordered 2011 171 would be a 2012. As far as I can see there is no difference between the late 2011 and the early 2012. It appears at some point in time Forest River simply stops the production line and says from this point on the model will be called the next year and then proceeds with whatever design they were already assembling. Early 2011's had different graphics and no sink in the shower, these changes to the graphics and the sink seem to have been added as the 2011 year went along. Don't despair, appears that there has been relatively little change from late 2010 to early 2012.

When I was at a camping rally down in Crescent City back in June, there was a salesperson from Pontiac RV there.  We were talking about the Pods and ¡Podtástic!.  He was telling me about the wireless controller and how well it works.
