okay so i have found two fairly active forums...this one and the nation forum....
are most people members of both?  are they cliques?
it seems redundant to ask questions on both forums....
is one more active than the other?
are these ridiculous question?
what's the deal?  lol

I'll try to give you a short answer (I'm at work).

This forum is owned & operated by Pod owners.
The other forum is owned & operated by a Pod dealership.

I don't feel that this forum is "clique-ish" at all.  All are welcome, along with most any topic (within reason), brand of camper or selling dealership.  Hell, we even allow links to the other site!  I don't think you will find any of this to be true on the other site.

No, your questions are not ridiculous!  It's why we're here.  Thanks!  Smile

Good question and one that comes up about every 6 months or so.  Yes there are 2 different forums with activity out there on the web.  We welcome all here and have lots of open talk ranging in topics from r-pods to general camping information and also even other camper brands or dealers.  We have not removed topics or links to places on this forum.  This is the original topic with more information

I love the R-pods and have a 2009 R-pod 2009!

Yes....what you both said!!!!LOL   I just went out with a carpenter's hammer to knock away just a small patch of ice from around my dryer vent, so I could do some laundry.  This is starting to be "not fun". Angry

I am going to seize the opportunity to explain something.......

You may have noticed that I don't own a Pod.  I used to - a RP173.  This is how I got started in these Pod forums to begin with.  I still think the Pods are cool and there are a lot of good folks here.  What I have now just suits me a little better - in my particular situation.

You may also have noticed that I am a "moderator".  This may seem a bit unusual, considering the above.  I consider myself an "honorary moderator" (in name only).  The Admins on this site decided to bestow this upon me because they felt that I had tried to contribute, above average, to help keep things going here.  Frankly, I can't recall an instance on this forum where it was necessary for a mod to step in.

This, I think, speaks to the environment here.

This, I think, speaks to the environment here.

After Puxtawaney Phil didn't see his shadow, I was really looking forward to breaking out the shorts but at 20 degrees today, I don't think that is going to happen although I did see a poor young collage girl running back to somewhere with her Chipolte in hand wearing leg warmers.  Something just isn't right.

I know I'm going through my wood pile faster than I expected, especially after a much colder-than-usual December.  We have most of our camping trips planned now, so come on spring!
