We bought our r-pod at Campkins in Whitby Ontario Canada. This is our second purchase from these people and there is a very good reason - service, attention fairness and committment , not to memntion the most expertise in nthe area for any help with repair of any trailer.
We downsized fron a 26ft Flagstaff with push outs to the R177 POD, QUITE A MOVE .. THE FIRST OF OUR DOWN SIZE. There were a few issues with the unit, but these were taken care of  very well wihtout any attitude. If you are looking for good people to help out with your RV experience Campkins is it in the Greater Toronto Area.
Not to mention the r-pod. We RV'd until almost the end of October and it has been great. Look forward to many years of enjoyment.
Thanks to Nemo, Louise, Pattie and Brad Campkins himself... he was born for this !

We bought our 1010 R177 this past spring at Campkins also. Great service, there was an issue with the buttons on the Dome but it was due to a misunderstanding with Forest River. The buttons were not in stock when we picked up the POD and Campkins offered to come to Bowmanville and install them for us while the trailer was in our driveway. I ended up installing them myself but they did offer to do this for us. We have not had (touch wood) a single issue with the trailer. By the way, do you live near Bowmanville or Oshawa?
We also camped till near the end of October, it is now in hibernation for the winter.

We bought our RP171 from Campkins last August.  They've been great addressing warranty issues and the technicians are knowledgeable and professional.

I did have one issue having my A/C fixed earlier this spring - repairs were dragging on.  Parts hadn't come in three weeks in a row and the parts clerk was reluctant to call and follow-up again with the supplier.  I made a quick call to the general manager (Roland) and he muscled the supplier.  Repairs happened quickly after that - Campkins even offered to pick-up and deliver my trailer!

Hi Craig, funny you should mention Roland. I was first told that Campkins did not have time to install the dome buttons before we took delivery and I would have to return with the trailer, turned out that they did not have the dome buttons in stock. When I questioned this Roland was the one who stepped in and offered for someone to come to Bowmanville to install them once they were in stock. I wish I had checked in the box that the dome was in, the buttons were in the box.

It sounds like you have a great dealer up there!  With service like that I'll bet they will be around a LONG time.

On our recent trip to the East Coast we had a brake problem that our home dealer was unable  (or unwilling) to fix. It kept getting worse as the km rolled by and when we spent a few days in Burlington, Ontario I phoned Campkins for an appointment and got one for the following week. We were  camped and visiting in Bobcaygeon which is less than an hours drive to Campkins and to make a long story short, they turned the drums ( they told us that the drums were defective and should be replaced under warranty but they had none in stock and we could not wait 10 days for them to get there) and fixed a few other niggly things. Everything under warranty coverage with a smile, in other words, superb service.

That is great!  What is nice about being able to post comments about any dealer on here is that someone looking for a R-Pod dealer might find one on here.  We need more of this.
