tire pressure

What is everyone running for tire pressure my 177 came from dealer with 36 lbs i took it up to 60 as that is what is says on side wall. I also gave the bearings 3 pumps of Lucas grease. Getting ready to head up to Lake Superior and Duluth Mn. for a few days to watch leaves change and have some smoked lake trout and smoked herring. At 36 lbs i did not have any handling problems. I wonder how it will pull and handle with 60 lbs maybe increase millage will find out.

May be me cause i cannot get down that far to look, i thought it was 60 but i have been wrong before. I will get someone younger that is not using bifocals to look. Ok i just did a search and it looks like you are correct it is 50 lbs so i will back it down to 50 before we leave thanks for help.

Our tires also say 50 lbs max.  I check the inflation every time we take the trailer out (along with the torque on the lug nuts).

What Outbound said.  And yes, whatever that number is, inflate to that number.  Same for the TV tires, pump them up to the sidewall rating while towing.  Having said that, I've found through experimentation that I get much better handling just a few pounds lower than the sidewall.
