Rpod dreamer, now lover, but what do I DO???

   Continue to take baby steps and keep it simple.  As time goes on and you become familiar with the Pod, you may want more and more challenges in making changes or modifications to it.  Each person has his/her own style, preferences and technical knowledge and that is reflected in the mods s/he does.  Some really enjoy putting in, what seem to me, very complicated systems the challenge of which they thoroughly enjoy.  Others, like me, like to see how we can accomplish similar goals while keeping the system as simple as possible.  
Go slowly, drive slowly, enjoy using your pod and in time, you'll find your comfort level.

	I definitely will take it slower paced. As they say “one step at a time”. I have to admit it has been awesome how the forum allows input from every angle. Then each of us picks the path we want to take.
	...On the road again! Just can’t wait to get on the road again....

	Like the others. One step at a time. You yourself are not going to know what you really want or need until you've experienced a little podding. We took ours on a couple of short, nearby trips just to get a feel for things.

	Which brings us full circle: other than possibly the dual battery install (which it sounds like you know you need and cam probably save $ if you have your dealer do it now) get out there and camp. You will quickly discover things that are fine as is and things that you wnat to change. Have fun!

	Don't forget, or maybe remember the comfort of a fan blowing directly on you while sleeping. My grandparents in Jonesboro Arkansas had no a/c. When we visited in the late 60's and early 70's it was always in the summer. Every room had a ceiling fan, every bedroom had a nightstand fan and I remember sleeping under a sheet and being a bit chilly in August. That fan that oscillated from bed to bed was a lifesaver(and I still have it...a Hunter Zeph-Air and yes it still runs perfect). The requirements to run a fan or two all night are vastly different from running a/c. A two 6v battery bank and a large solar panel or two medium one's will keep you comfortable. Heck, you are 'camping' so giving up a/c for a trip is not the end of the world ;)
