Considering commercial power is not available and there is no ready access to your 12 volt system, it sounds like you have come up with a good solution.

I am curious though, have you ever tried just running the bath fan to draw in outside air?

We had the bath fan running to pull air in the windows, but it didn't create the kind of breeze we liked...gets steamy in the parts!
I do run the bath fan almost constantly when the pod is parked in the driveway. I keep the windows open about 25% and if it is pleasant and dry, the door open. The moving air keeps the interior dry or drier and makes it less musty inside. I did put a 30 Amp outlet in a dry box in the garage so it is plugged in all the time. (I have 30 Amps out to the garage, one of my extras when we put an addition on the house a few years ago. The thing is an old barn with a loft I use for a shop.)

I run the bath fan most days, when it is not raining, with the windows open and door open. Keeps the closed up smell from building up.
When I use the shower, after I have wiped the surrounds down, I keep the shower curtain loose and keep the fan running also. A lot of us are in a Mold forming areaDead.
I have tried the fan running, with the windows open in the back, helps some and better than nothing.
Going to give the battery operated fan a "whirl".
I , too, have a set up to plug in at the house, keep it plugged in all the time.

Needing some air blowing over me is one of the thing that "bugs" the husband, he never gets hot.
Can't sleep if I am stickyClap and cranky. I think living in Lousiana in my young years, having a big attic fan that sucked the air into the house at night really set me for life in needing the flow. Husband says he needs to have a seat belt in bedLOL Well you can always pile on more blankets in summer, Yikes.
By middle of the night the mountain air turns downright chilly, just right for me!

I'm the same way about having grown up with an attic fan.  I need air circulating!
I must say though I've found the bathroom fan more than adequate for that.  There's a window by my head and one at my feet and air pull is really great I think.  I've been very comfortable, and I'm the type who doesn't really like cover touching me or anything.

Just how much time you have on the Pod battery, I have just one. And what does that do for you lights, and anything else (I can't think of others) when it has drained?
I know I am going to need a box full of D batteries, but small price to pay when I am dry camping.LOL

I found the draw through the windows to be pretty good when I tried it about 2 months ago, and that was on setting 1 since I was on battery power.  Setting 2 or 3 would have been even better.

That's a hard question to answer.  It all depends on what electrical things you use and how long you use them.  Being fugal, you can likely get 2-3 days on one battery.  Your monitor panel can keep you abreast of your relative power remaining.  Most things will still work, but your lights will be dimmer, the water pump runs slower, etc. when your battery is getting badly discharged.

In regards to the overhead fan, here is what I am considering:

Though, I think I'll get the 3 speed model w/o the thermostat (if I get one).  While it would be a huge improvement over what I have in my camper, I don't know that it would be a substantial improvement over what comes in the Pod.  The fan in the Pod (I thought) was pretty good.

PS - The Camping World ad also has the fan of which Outbound speaks.

MM, my wife calls it "sleeping in a jet plane exhaust" with a fan in the window at home. So the little Walmart fan is good with little noise, unlike the bath fan which gets noisy at settings 2and3.

My, how different parts of this continent are! I was just wondering if I had enough blankets for our big cross-country trip later in July and Tom reminded me that we can always turn on the heater! I also had him install a piece of acrylic in the bottom half of the screen door so the floor would not be so cold when we have the door open. Might want to take that out if we ever get to GeorgiaLOL
